Finding Growth in Every Setback

FIRST SDE QUIZ - WEEK 5

Well, in the midst of all the quizzes and projects being tossed around, it's easy to get confused. So I had my first quiz just recently, and I worked hard for it but didn't pass quite as high as I had wanted. It is a real bummer, but it is a good lesson. Instead of letting the bad day soak into me, I thought it was a great opportunity to increase my work ethic. It's not about studying more, it's just smarter-focusing on what's essential.

It's an academic marathon. Every quiz, project, and deadline is like climbing mountains as opposed to working towards the finish line. Yet, amidst all the exhaustion, I realize that it's just more than hitting obstacles they become chances for change. Every mistake in that quiz on areas I need improvement, and every project teaches me abilities like good time management and teamwork. It is exhausting, but at the same time, it's preparing me for so much more: somebody that becomes way more resilient and prepared to face everything in the future. I'm learning not to see them as losses but as stepping stones towards becoming a better version of myself.

I'm cooked 😭😭😭
